WHAT DOES SOIL & WATER DO?

The local office that protects our farmland.

Soil & Water Supervisors help farmers and landowners protect soil from erosion and keep our streams and rivers clean. They also connect local families with conservation programs and cost-share dollars. As Johnston County faces tremendous demand for growth, these decisions shape whether our farms and open land survive for the next generation.
